Medical Doctor Endorses Agapé Boarding School As A Highly Successful Homeopathy/Naturopathic Program
Can Agapé Boarding School help if my child has a diagnosis of ADHD, ADD, ODD, Depression, Bi-polar, Behavior Learning Disorder, and Special Needs”?
Yes! Agapé Boarding School has had a long history of helping boys and young men gain the skills necessary to cope with given mental health diagnosis and disorders without the use of psychopharmaceuticals. Once a student on behavior modification drugs is accepted and enrolled, the Stockton Walk-in Clinic and Family Care will evaluate and administer a weaning process.
Stockton Lake Walk-In Clinic and Family Care has agreed to continue, if needed, prescribing students accepted and enrolled at Agapé Boarding School with needed ADHD, ADD, ODD, depression and other medications until such a time that such medications are not needed. An attempt to wean or give drug holidays will be actively pursued. Monitoring and evaluations of students will be done on a weekly basis at the Agapé Boarding School Campus Student Health Center or at our Stockton Clinic. Progress and drug side effects will be noted with vital signs. Stockton Family Care acknowledges patients diagnosed with ADHD, ADD, ODD, Depression or other Mental or Behavioral Disorders have been able to learn to cope during the past generations with these conditions prior to the onset of the growing prescription treatments currently available and that schools currently fail to provide these coping skills. Since 2003 Stockton Family Care has studied the methods used at Agapé Boarding School and the Health Care Providers have confidence that these skills are taught at Agapé Boarding School. The clinics Health Care Providers will facilitate prescriptions for actively enrolled students during the time that they are learning alternative methods of coping and in weening in accordance with Manufacturers Titration recommendations.
The homeopathy/naturopathic approach Agapé use includes: good nutrition, exercise, one-on-one Christian counseling and prayerful meditation. These combined with reinforcing self discipline by teaching self initiated behavior control and impulse control gives focus and the tools needed to manage in an ever increasing complicated society.
The result has been a nearly 100% success rate of freeing young minds and bodies from these powerful psychopharmaceutical medications and their side effects. I and other community doctors have been affiliated for many years with the school and verified their success rate. With improved behavior and impulse control these young fellows go on to participate in many school and community activities as well as an instructor-guided but, none-the-less self driven individually designed academic curriculum to gain the self confidence to graduate from Junior and Senior High School.
Replacing external negative stimuli with boundary setting, positive and negative consequences, positive and negative reinforcement with appropriate rewards, and an understanding of expectations allows the boys and young men to learn to succeed and develop a healthy respect for authority figures, parents, and loved ones. Lack of tolerating inappropriate behavior quickly extinguishes the self reward phase of defiant attitudes and replaces with rewards for appropriate behavior and a team-work spirit while maintaining individual creativity and initiative.
As a traditional medical physician, I strongly support and encourage my patients and their parents to follow the model practiced at Agapé Boarding School located in Stockton, Missouri. If you have further questions or concerns, I can be reached at the Stockton Lake Clinic at 417 809-8620.

My grandson entered Agapé under duress at age 14, a know it all who wouldn’t go to school. The staff at this school turned him around, in effect, replacing his missing father. He graduated as valedictorian this year. I can’t say enough about how this school helped him. He has…
