Normal Day
We provide a structured schedule, which helps boys develop discipline and personal responsibility. Boys have approximately 30 minutes of daily chores and are responsible to keep their beds, closets, and personal space neat and organized. Meals are served cafeteria-style three times a day.
All students participate in church services and daily chapel. In lieu of group therapy, many issues common to the boys are addressed with Biblical teaching and principles during chapel.
Boys spend around six hours a day working on academics during the week, plus a half day on Saturdays. Those who are ahead academically can volunteer for campus projects on Saturday.
Boys are supervised continually with a student to staff ratio of 8 to 1. They have a variety of activities available for their free time in evenings and on weekends, such as the gymnasium, rec center, some sports, canoeing, fishing, paddle boats, swimming, art, study hall, crafts, and trail rides.
